Description
Also called a California Common, “Cleveland Steamer” is a steam beer. It is one of the quintessentially American styles of beer. Hailing from the bay of San Francisco it is a lager brewed at ale temperatures. Before refrigeration was widely available, Anchor Brewing Company would set their steaming vats of wort to cool in the crisp air coming in from the Pacific Ocean. Cheers!
